    Question:

Nothing happens when I run the Program.  The program won't start.

        Answer:

All Debs Software is written in Java.  The J2SE Runtime Environment allows end-users to run Java applications.   Download and install the Java Runtime Environment (JRE) 6.0 to run our software.

Note:  You need to scroll down the page to locate the download for this specific update listed as Java Runtime Environment (JRE) 6.0.

Once you've installed the JRE 6.0, you do not need to update the JRE to another version. You may receive notifications that Java updates are available, however no action is required and you can simply close the message.

    Question:

The external drive has a different letter, and now I cannot add files from the Search Dialog to the Play List.

        Answer:

When you plug your external drive into your laptop, the Drive Letter can change.  If it is different from the Drive Letter you used when you created a Database, the selected file will not be found when you search the Database.  You do not need to create a new Database.

Steps to change the Drive Letter of a USB Device (Windows XP):

1. Select Start, select Control Panel, select Administrative Tools, select Computer Management, select Storage, and select Disk Management.
2. This will display a list of the current Volumes (Drives).
3. Right click on the Volume you would like to change, and select Change Drive Letter and Paths...
4. Select the Change... Button.
5. This will display another dialog box where you can select the new Drive Letter that you want to change this drive to.
6. Select the Okay Button.
7. Select the Yes to Confirm changing the drive letter of a Volume.
